Glamourous Ladies at the Norman Parkinson Exhibiton

Mar 8th 2013 | 0 COMMENTS

I was at the private view of the new Norman Parkinson exhibition last night at the National Theatre as a guest of Elegantly Papered and I couldn’t resist a photograph of Princess Anne & Maggie Smith mingling with a guest.

I think it’s fair to say that Norman Parkinson is the Godfather of modern fashion photography so we were looking forward to this exhibition. It was a really interesting show curated by Corbis. Some of it was trash celebrity work but Parkinsons sheer charisma and talent livened up even the most boring subject. The images were a mixture of celebrity portraits and some beautiful fashion work.

I’m also looking forward to seeing the new Arena Documentary which was showing in silence on a TV. Quite a tease!
